I'm not afraid the house will fall down.

He admitted it already, so we're going to get an estimate and see how he wants to deal with it.abi's momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10539549711862510375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24470270.post-1163719446192888442006-11-16T18:24:00.000-05:002006-11-16T18:24:00.000-05:00I can't believe the job they're doing. There is a house around the corner from us that is still under contruction for their addition (added second floor to a ranch), and it's been well over a year now. So you're not the only ones - but it's awful to get stuck with a contractor like this, because what can you do? You're at their mercy.

What are you going to do about the car? Can you prove he hit it? Will he own up to that?Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17964042904351750185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24470270.post-1163713044883592962006-11-16T16:37:00.000-05:002006-11-16T16:37:00.000-05:00We actually have friends who have worse stories--t...We actually have friends who have worse stories--their contractor ended up not being liscenced anymore, told them that workers were working on their when they were really working on another house down the street, didn't get permits, then had a break down and went AWOL after demolishing their existing house but before starting on the new house.

So we're probably lucky.abi's momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10539549711862510375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24470270.post-1163712659840972322006-11-16T16:30:00.000-05:002006-11-16T16:30:00.000-05:00Could all the contractors down there be like that,...Could all the contractors down there be like that, or were you the Lucky ones?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
