Photographer

Zack got a hold of my phone again. I rather like his perspective.

Reunited

I think Georgia missed Zack. And vice versa.

Our little fish (video)

This came totally out of the blue today. He started with his float vest on, but was trying to swim with his face under water. I casually mentioned that it'd be easier to do that without the vest on. About 15 minutes later he asked me to take it off. And then he jumped right in and did this. He eventually wanted the vest back on, but I was just blown away and so proud of him!

He has a future...

...in goggle modeling.

He kept putting on different pairs and telling me to take a picture. How could I say no to that face?

Captain Scott's

He was more excited about his shrimp and mussels than the picture would indicate.

And that's not his beer.

Rejected

It's a vacation tradition of ours to have Anne and Mark watch Zack while Rob and I go out to dinner at Noah's in Stonington. As we were all eating ice cream after the beach this afternoon, we mentioned to Zack that he'd be hanging out with Nonnie and Nonno to tonight. He asked why but was otherwise unfazed. About 5 minutes later he comes up to me, smirk on his face, puts his arms around my neck and says "Mommy, you're staying with Nonnie and Nonno tonight. Daddy and I are going to go eat.".

I see where I stand in the grand scheme of things.

The boys...

...playing Angry Birds on a stormy Sunday afternoon.

The boys playing Angry Birds.

Lovely

Georgia and I pretty much had all this to ourselves yesterday morning. Well, us and Miss Humidity, who has established herself to such an extent these days as to be referred to as a proper noun.

Regardless, it was just that--lovely.
