Abi's got a roof!
Well, at least part of one.
And paper on the sides. (Is Tyvek the only company that makes this stuff?)
And here are two views of the inside of the new room. We've got framing, too, Anita! But no windows yet.

That's really looking nice. You're going to love it!
There should be lots of light, since the new room faces south--so I can grow lots of plants!!!
It's shaping up beautifully! You'll love the large window space. It looks like real progress is being made. Start picking you wall colors!
Rob had wanted to just put in smaller ones at the top of the walls--I made him put in bigger ones, which I'm going to LOVE.
I'll have to post pics of the rest of the inside of the house--there's still a lot to be done there. To say nothing of the fact that there is a refrigerator, bathtub, toilet, kitchen cabinets and garage doors in my living room at the moment.
It's not exactly true that I was putting smaller windows in! I was exploring privacy options. I think Abi's Mom needs some clarification on this topic!......love you!
I think Abi's dad needs a little help with his memory...love you too!

Well things are certainly moving along there. I love the roof!
Did you have the windows custom made?
I love those windows on top, whatever they're called, over the main windows. Transoms? Whatever - they're very cool.
No customs windows, all out of the catalog. I think the big window will be made of 3 smaller windows--2 casements on the side and a non-openable one in the middle. The transom is made up of 2? 3? smaller awning windows.
Oh, wait. The peanut gallery just said that transoms are typically above doors--these are called clerestories.
Whatever.
