They really have been installed! At least most of them. The rest should be done tomorrow. The duct work is still behind schedule though.

Who is Abi and why does she have a new home?
We started this blog as we began renovations and an addition on our home, and we kept joking that we were giving Abi, our wonderful weimaraner, a new home. Many things have changed since then, and Abi is no longer with us, but in memory of her, we keep the name of the blog the same.

Well, that's more like it! I'm not even going to ask about the work that needs to be done. It might just jinx things. I know the floor fininshing will take the better part o a a week- the duct work and electricity, another-i.e. , if they stick to it.
I think we have conveyed to them how annoyed we are with the amount of time they've been taking, so I think they'll stick with it now. Hopefully!

Wow! What progress! I haven't checked your blog for a week or so and it's great to see all that work done. The windows look great. You will love all that light and the extra space from the high ceilings. Another month and you'll be cooking dinner in your new kitchen!
Since we couldn't open most of the original windows without some degree of pounding and dislocating of shoulders, it seemed logical to replace them all.
Plus they were dirty as all get out--one way to get clean windows! :)
