Abi seems to be OK with her new backyard and decided to take advantage of last Saturday's warm weather to work on her tan.
It's a little too cold for that this weekend. Abi got a bit confused by the sudden urge to hibernate and by her classification as a bird dog yesterday--we found her munching away in the container of bird seed.

I think you mean, "work on her taupe".
It's freezing in NJ today. Dave was brewing a batch of Easter beer out there on the driveway at 7 am.
Wow, drive he has to make that Beer!!! Abi does look comfortable, how was her tummy after she ate the bird seed. Yummy, maybe she could have some more with Sara's cake. LOL
You're right, Anita, it shoudl be "taupe", not "tan".
And her tummy was fine. For all of her problems, she has a stomach of iron. What makes things interesting is that she doesn't actually digest the birdseed, so one finds odd little piles in the backyard...
Better your backyard than mine!
It's always something. This morning is was waking up to no water. I immediately thought our pipes had frozen and nearly had a heart attack. But no, the pipes hadn't frozen. The water main outside our house had frozen and cracked and was spewing forth water into our front yard and the street. So we now have a fountain and an ice rink in our front and side yards. When we left this morning, no one had shown up to fix anything yet. We shall see.
I guess this is what they mean when they say something about the patience of JOb. Coraggio, my dears!
That's awful!
