Who is Abi and why does she have a new home?
We started this blog as we began renovations and an addition on our home, and we kept joking that we were giving Abi, our wonderful weimaraner, a new home. Many things have changed since then, and Abi is no longer with us, but in memory of her, we keep the name of the blog the same.

I'm with you on the mountain laurel. Our dinner guests just left. Four layered chocolate cake with icing made from heavy cream, sugar, beaker's chocolate and butter, all whisked in container of ice ware to cool it. Big Hit!!
