MORE DRYWALL AND BAMBOO FLOORING!!!!!

Can you believe it, they are actually getting more done! Here are some more shots of the drywall progress. The bamboo flooring is also being installed in the kitchen. Douglas fir has been purchased for the window trim and base. They have also been working on some of the outside landscaping issues. They bricked out an entry into the crawl space, and installed a french drain pipe at the garage. We have given notice to our property agent that we will move out of the rental by the end of Novemeber. The pressure is on the contractor, otherwise we will be living in our cars!!

Everything looks really nice. Maybe if they aren't quite finished by the end of Nov., you could still move in, no?

I really wish Rob wouldn't have mentioned living in our cars...

We've got no choice but to move in by the end of November because we'll have no where else to go. I'm rather convinced that we'll be making coffee for the workers for awhile after we've moved in, though.

Wow, moving along! Who knows, they might be done in a month. If they don't hit any more snags you might make it. Anyway the fun stuff is starting (bamboo floors! I'll bet they're gorgeous)

That's right, Rob's the bad cop. Go get 'em!

Maybe seeing you living in the house will shame the contractor into finishing faster.

The real bad cop is Erica! I'm just following her orders! Actually, the contractor has committed to getting us back into the house by the end of November, so I am holding him to it! Even if we have to cook out of the microwave for awhile!

It's true. Rob won't let me talk to the contractor on a regular basis, only as a last resort.

And give that we haven't used a microwave in over a year, it'll be a treat to cook out of one!

Wow, you guys have come along way. The kids really wanted to come visit over Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe next year!! We'll be at Anna's. The boys will go camping/hiking over the Thanksgiving weekend. Us girls might stay alittle longer not sure right now.

Oh don't forget to check out our blog. Some more Philmont pictures and Taryn's Halloween Party.

There's certainly not going to be much visiting on Thanksgiving weekend this year! We'll probably be moving that weekend, oh joy.

That's a great weekend to move. You have 4 days off to pack, unpack, change your mind about paint colors a zillion times (no wait, that's me :)
